Cherry Blossom Partiers Banned In Maizuru Park

Signage has been posted around Maizuru parks to remind visitors that they cannot hold hanami (cherry blossom viewing parties) or walk with drinks in hand. Approximately 1,000 sakura trees have begun to bloom in the park and are expected to be in full bloom around this weekend. Notice boards with the warnings have been erected at around 30 spots inside the park to ask people to cooperate with this year’s special hanami etiquette. Source: KBC / TNC
