China’s top electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD, unveiled its first authorized dealership in Fukuoka City, Kyushu, on July 1st. This newly established location, named ‘BYD Auto Fukuoka Nishi’, marks the sixth BYD authorized dealership in Japan. Conveniently situated within an outlet mall, it provides shoppers the chance to test drive BYD’s available SUV model, the ‘ATTO3’. The ‘ATTO3’ is equipped with a multi-purpose touchscreen suitable for navigation and video playback. A noteworthy feature of this model is its battery, located at the bottom of the car, which allows a travel distance of up to 470 kilometers on a single full charge. As part of its expansion strategy, BYD plans to build a network of over 100 sales outlets across Japan by the close of 2025. Source: KBC / BYD Auto Fukuoka-Nishi
