Chinese to Receive Waste Disposal Training in Fukuoka

Fukuoka City has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese government to train roughly 800 public sector employees a year in waste disposal and water conservation technology starting next year. Each trainee will spend three weeks in Japan. Fukuoka City has developed advanced techniques for seawater desalinization and sewage disposal.
