After working as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs, an American securities firm, he joined the U.S. Department of State in 2006 and has worked primarily in economic affairs in the USA and Africa. This is his first time working in Japan. His wife, child, and dog accompany him. Mr. Asike said he hopes to interact with many people during his three-year tenure and looks forward to visiting various places such as Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and watching baseball games. Source: KBC
