Communicating Astronomy with the Public 2018 in Fukuoka

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) will host a conference in Fukuoka at Fukuoka City Science Museum on Mar. 25. The AIU, which claims 10,000 members worldwide, aims to convey advanced cosmological research in an accessible manner. A lecture by Japanese physicist Hitoshi Murayama is one of the highlights of a series of events that are grouped under the title Communicating Astronomy with the Public. Key questions addressing the origins and fate of the universe will be addressed by Professor Murayama, who is the Director of the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe at the University of Tokyo.
