Compost Made From Disposable Cups To Be Tested in Kitakyushu

A trial to make compost from used paper cups began in Kitakyushu City. Special paper cups made of biodegradable resin will be used at regional sports events, including games of Giravanz Kitakyushu, and then converted into compost with other food scraps. The project organizer, Toyo Aluminium K.K. in Osaka, also envisions growing vegetables with the compost and selling them as ingredients for food to be sold at sports venues. Source: Toyo Aluminium
