A specialty store selling Costco products in smaller portions opened at MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi on Dec. 4, offering about 1,500 items ranging from food to daily necessities. The shop, branded “CostGo,” is the first in Kyushu and the eighth nationwide. Unlike Costco, it does not require membership or an annual fee. Prices are generally 20% to 30% higher than Costco’s standard pricing, but products are sold in single or reduced portions, such as individual muffins.
