On November 14, an inspection was conducted on the Kyushu Expressway in Chikushino City, Fukuoka, to crack down on the use of illicit light oil—fuel mixed with kerosene or heavy oil to evade taxes. Officials from the prefecture and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism took fuel samples from trucks.
