Line Fukuoka and Line Corporation are developing a new system to provide tailor-made support for international tourists. With a new concept of “no searching, no translation and no wallet”, the system selects recommended tourist attractions for each account, provides payment and other information and takes orders of food and drinks in multiple languages without launching other applications or browsers. The seamless service is based on two of the core functions of Line, communication, and payment. The system was tested by guests and media crews of the G20 Meetings in Fukuoka and will be officially released after analyzing the results of that trial and feedback received.
