Daihatsu Kyushu released its non-consolidated revenue and earnings report for the year ended March 31, 2001, which showed a 1.5% year-on-year decline in vehicle sales to 336,739, and a 4.1% decline in revenue to 243.535 billion yen. It is the company’s first revenue decline since they moved from Gunma Prefecture in November 2004. They were attributed to the suspension of vehicle production caused by an inability to procure parts after the Tohoku earthquake.
