Daihatsu Plans to Make Kyushu Minicar Production Base
Daihatsu Motors launched sales of its new Move Conte model, with engines produced at its recently opened plant in Kurume and assembly conducted at its Oita plant #2. The company plans to produce 48,000 units a year, and intends to pursue a strategy of focusing its minicar production in Kyushu.
