Daihatsu announced it will resume operations at its Oita Plant No. 2 in Nakatsu City on July 14 following a parts shortage that had halted production. The plant, which manufactures mini vehicles including the Taft and Mira e:S models, will remain idle from July 7 to 11 as previously planned. Meanwhile, operations at the Shiga Plant No. 2 will also be suspended for nine days starting from the night shift on July 8. Daihatsu’s main plant in Osaka and its Kyoto plant will continue running as usual. Source: Daihatsu
