Demand For Rubber Gloves For Robots Increasing

Demand for the world’s first rubber gloves for robots produced by a Kurume-based manufacturer, Towa Corporation, is increasing. ‘ROBO Glove’ was developed three years ago to improve the performance of robots in food production, where the slipperiness of water and oil was a challenge. The gloves enable robot arms to pick up and grab items securely under such conditions while protecting them from being damaged by liquids. The gloves are also used in the production of car parts.
