On Oct 21, 300 people demonstrated in Tenjin against the introduction of the MV 22 Osprey Aircraft to Okinawa. After the official demonstration, a petition was submitted to the American Consulate asking for the Osprey to not fly in Japanese airspace. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun 22
