Fukuoka City announced the ‘Botanical Garden Next’ project with plans to expand the functionality of the city’s botanical garden. Plans include the creation of Botanical Life Square, a 300-square-meter multipurpose building attached with a roofed deck. The facility can be used for lectures, talk sessions, and civic activities, as well as a site for “workations.” The Square will open in October 2022.
