Dontaku Parade Resumes This Year

The organizers of the Hakata Dontaku, announced intentions to resume one of Fukuoka’s biggest annual festivals this year. The event was canceled the past two years due to the spread of the new coronavirus. Organizers feel the situation is gradually coming under control. A meeting will be held on Mar. 15 to finalize the intention and discuss effective anti-infection measures. Source: NHK / KBC
