Drug Eleven Open Two New Stores in Tokyo

JR Kyushu Drug Eleven opened two new stores in Tokyo during the month of January. The company set up a branch outside Kayabacho Station in Tokyo on January 25, followed with another store on the second floor of Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) which opened its doors on January 31. Drug Eleven established their first store in the country’s capital in front of Kyobashi Station in July 2017 and are now looking to open ten branches in Tokyo over the next few years. Sales of the Kyobashi store have not matched expectations, but the company believes that this is due to a lack of awareness about the brand. Officials expect to see locals’ awareness of the store develop as the number of branches in the region increase. Source: Ryutsuu News (1, 2), 1/25/2018 and 1/31/2018
