Dust Storms Expected Across Kyushu on March 25–26

The Japan Meteorological Agency has forecast that yellow dust (DSS) will reach Kyushu from the early hours of March 25, spreading across the entire region by morning and continuing through March 26. Visibility may drop below 10 km, and possibly under 5 km, potentially disrupting transportation. Combined with high pollen levels, the dust may also worsen allergy symptoms. Authorities advise caution, especially with outdoor activities and drying laundry. Source: Japan Meteorological Agency / NHK
