The first on-street trials of electric scooters in Japan will begin in four cities including Fukuoka in late-October. As of Oct. 16, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry approved the program by adopting special measures of turning local bicycle-only lanes into e-kickboard lanes. In Fukuoka, a demonstration by Mobby Ride is scheduled on Oct. 20. Details will be announced soon. Source: Fukuoka City
