Easter is when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the arrival of spring. This year it falls on April 4th, this weekend. Marking the occasion, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka’s “The Market F” sells sweets, including decorated Easter eggs and hot cross buns that can be eaten on Good Friday. Hot cross buns are made by kneading dried fruits pickled in Western liquor into a dough with cinnamon. (¥194).
