The Kyushu District Transport Bureau has created manuals for hotels to help handle foreign tourists during an emergency. Included in the manuals will be instructions on how to prepare recordings in multiple languages, easy to understand graphics depicting transport information, and practical words to facilitate communication in English, Korean, and Chinese. Lessons learned from the earthquakes in Kumamoto and Oita were applied. Source: Asahi Shinbun, 2/24
