Eurasian Otters Found in Tsushima

The Ministry of the Environment confirmed on May 28 that several Eurasian otters have been found in Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The discovery was made as part of an ongoing study into the mammals and follows wild otter sightings in the same vicinity last year. DNA taken from fecal samples have confirmed that at least one female and two male Eurasian otters currently inhabit the area. Source: Jiji, 5/28/2018
