Excessive Water Plants Create Problems inside Ohori Park

An increased amount of aquatic plants are risking the lives of other creatures inside Ohori Park. According to the park’s administration office, new plants began to cover water from June 2020. The phenomenon damages the view of the popular city park and creates extra work since it tangles up boat oars and propellers. Some experts suggest that the reduced use of boats during the new coronavirus pandemic created ideal water plant growth conditions in the park. Source: FNN
