Nishitetsu Kitakyushu, Kamenoi Bus of Beppu, and Oita Kotsu of Oita City have launched a jointly operated expressway bus service between the three cities. It is the first bus service of this type on these routes. The companies are targeting those traveling for leisure or returning to their hometowns on weekends and holidays, so are limiting service to Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and the O-bon and yearend periods until March 27th in a trial. There will be four runs in a day.
