Family Play Areas to Open at Boat Race Wakamatsu

Kitakyushu City announced plans to open new family-oriented play areas at Boat Race Wakamatsu in April as part of efforts to make the venue more community-friendly. The project included “Movi Wakamatsu,” an indoor and outdoor play space for children aged six months to 12 years with 38 types of equipment tailored to developmental stages. It also included “Groon Wakamatsu,” a nature-based area designed for outdoor activities, programs, and possible use during local festivals. Movi Wakamatsu would be the second such facility in Fukuoka Prefecture, while Groon Wakamatsu would be the first of its kind. The opening was scheduled for April 1. Source: KBC / Kitakyushu City
