The Fukuoka Financial Group (FFG) and Nagasaki-based Eighteenth Bank consolidated their business operations on April 1. It is hoped that the move will strengthen the businesses’ infrastructure, improve customer service, and help re-energize the region. Shinwa Bank and Eighteenth Bank will merge under the umbrella of the Fukuoka Financial Group next October.
