With a strong cold front coming into northern Kyushu, Fukuoka and its surrounding cities experienced chilly weather: Temperatures as of 11:00 a.m. on the day marked 5 degrees celsius in Fukuoka City, and 2.9 degrees celsius in Dazaifu City.
