The operator of the redevelopment of the former site of the relocated Children’s Hospital (Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City) has been selected. The site will be transformed into a space centered on a general hospital and a group of condominiums. Fukuoka City announced on January 30 that Sekisui House and Fukuoka University had been selected as the developers of the redevelopment of the former Children’s Hospital site in Tojinmachi, Chuo-ku. The hospital will be a five-story general hospital for internal medicine with enhanced IoT (Internet of Things) capabilities, including online medical services and AI diagnostic imaging.
