Free Legal Consultation for LGBT Community

The Fukuoka Prefecture Bar Association started a monthly free phone consultation service for members of the LGBT community. Every second Thursday of the month, trained lawyers will offer legal advice on any issue, from workplace discrimination to property inheritance. The Tokyo Bar Association and the Osaka Bar Association also offer a similar service, but this is the first time that a regular consultation has been established in Kyushu. The line will also be open to people calling from outside Fukuoka Prefecture. Source: Mainichi Shimbun, 9/13/2017.
