A ranking of “the top livable towns 2019 in Fukuoka” was released by a housing-loan company, Aruhi Corporation, and the town of Fujisaki in Sawara Ward ranked the first. Ten districts in Fukuoka Prefecture which is highly popular for purchasing houses in recent years were evaluated based on five criteria including living environment, accessibility and the potential for the development. The area of Fujisaki was highly valued for having many public facilities, local shopping arcade, and child-friendly environments.
