Fukuoka International Airport has launched a campaign offering cashback on passport application or renewal costs for eligible international travelers following Japan’s reduction in passport fees this month. The promotion applies to people who obtained or renewed a passport on or after July 1 and depart on an international flight from Fukuoka Airport. Travelers to South Korea or Thailand can receive electronic gift rewards equal to the full passport cost, while those visiting other destinations can receive rewards worth half the fee. Additional benefits, including coupons and commemorative stickers, are available for travelers aged 35 and younger and for passengers bound for South Korea. Eligible trips run from July 20 through January 11, 2027, and the campaign will end once the application limit is reached. Source: TNC News / Fukuoka Airport
