Starting from Feb. 1, Fukuoka Airport’s parking lots (at both the international and domestic terminals) will be toll free for the first 30 minutes. Regular parking charges will apply for those parking for longer than 30 minutes. This measure has been introduced to ease congestion caused by cars dropping off and picking up travellers at the airport. Kumamoto Airport will introduce a similar measure from Apr. 1.
