Fukuoka Art Museum Hosts Baby Stroller Tour

The Fukuoka Art Museum held a “Baby Stroller Tour” event to provide parents and their infants with a relaxed and enjoyable art experience. The event, named “First Baby Stroller Tour,” was designed for parents who find it difficult to visit museums due to childcare responsibilities. On May 22, four families with babies aged from five months to one year and three months participated. A curator guided the group through exhibits, focusing on artworks with the color red, which is one of the first colors babies recognize. The tour also included time for taking photos with outdoor sculptures. Participants appreciated the opportunity to engage with art comfortably. The museum plans to continue such initiatives to make art more accessible. Source: Fukuoka Art Museum / NHK
