The Fukuoka City-based Fukuoka Bank launched a new Internet banking service on the 22nd for deposits and withdrawals for bank accounts in four foreign currencies, including the Euro and the American dollar. They will also handle the purchase and sale of government bonds on line for individual customers. They are the first bank in Kyushu to offer such services over the Internet.
