Fukuoka Boosts Rescue Ops with High-Tech Chopper

Fukuoka Fire Prevention Bureau has introduced a new, advanced helicopter to replace its 15-year-old “Yurikamome” model. The new helicopter, set to be operational from October 9th, was unveiled in a ceremony attended by Mayor Takashima and other officials on October 2nd. The aircraft features cutting-edge technology, including a camera that can see through smoke, the ability to onboard stretchers directly, and improved hovering stability.
