Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival Goes Online For 2021

The 2021 edition of the Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival will be held online. The festival will live-stream sakura videos later this month to share the joy of cherry blossoms viewing while securing safety for the public. It will also provide “hanami etiquette” to prevent the new coronavirus spread. Contents and schedules will be announced in mid-March. *Lightup events, stage performances, and operation of yatai stalls have been canceled for 2021. Parties, drinking activities, and use of power generators are prohibited in Maizuru Park between Mar. 19 ~ Apr. 4. Also, the use of fire (BBQ, etc.) is not allowed inside the park. Source: KBC
