Fukuoka City announced that COVID-19 vaccination vouchers for Fukuoka City residents 64 years of age and under would be mailed out on June 30. Those who receive vouchers can make their vaccination bookings for dates depending on their age and other conditions as described below:
* 60 y/o ~ 64 y/o: (from when vouchers are delivered)
* Residents with primary illness: (*pre-registration required.)
* 50 y/o ~ 59 y/o: July 12 (Mon.) 08:30~
* 40 y/o ~ 49 y/o: July 15 (Thu.) 08:30~
* 30 y/o ~ 39 y/o: July 19 (Mon.) 08:30~
* 16 y/o ~ 29 y/o: July 22 (Thu.) 08:30~
Age groups are defined by age as of Mar. 31, 2022
To avoid overloading support centers, the mayor asks residents to book via smartphone or PC unless they have special reasons. Direct contacts to local medical clinics should be avoided unless one has underlying diseases or other conditions that require medical consultation. Injection availability can be found online. Currently, in Fukuoka City, 65% of elderly residents are scheduled to receive their second injection.
