Fukuoka City is planning to strengthen its electricity backup resources for times of emergencies. To be able to provide electricity at evacuation shelters, the city has proposed a budget to facilitate the plan in its draft budget for the fiscal year of 2020. Introduction devices that enable the use of electric vehicles (EV) as emergency power supplies will be one of the core projects.
