Fukuoka City Distributed Over 100,000 Tablets To Students

Fukuoka City began its new IT-based education program, ‘GIGA School,’ as of December 1. The board of education distributed approximately 127,000 tablets to pupils and students who study at municipal elementary, junior high, high, and special schools as of November 30 to prepare for the digital program’s opening. Students can access learning resources and online classes and work on drills personalized by an AI system.  Source: NHK / KBC
