Fukuoka City ES and JHS To Stagger Start Times

The Fukuoka City Board of Education announced new guidelines to prevent the new coronavirus infections after the second term. To reduce risks while continuing school education, local elementary and junior high schools will adopt staggered starting times between Aug. 30 ~ Sep. 12. Decisions for remote classes, class and school closures, and shorter school hours may follow if pandemic situations get severer in individual school areas. Also, the ventilation of classrooms will be monitored with special devices. Source: Fukuoka City
