Fukuoka-based NPO, Global Life Support Center, is offering support to a mother and her 3-year-old daughter who fled from Ukraine. The two were brought over by the mother’s sister, who resides in Tagawa City. In response to the news of their arrival, some Tagawa citizens are already offering their residence, furniture, toys and more. The support center also provides technical support for them to apply for the visa status that allows the mother to work and live in Japan for one year. Source: NHK / RKB
