Fukuoka City’s municipal schools are slated to return to regular school hours as early as June 1. The local board of education has reflected upon the ‘new lifestyle at schools’ that have recently announced the national government. The committee will further consider the timing for resuming club activities at junior high schools and high schools and the city’s six public pools and ten gymnasiums will reopen on June 1 for users with reservations. Gymnasiums, including Sogo Taiiku-kan, will accept reservations via phone from May 30. Source: KBC / TNC
