Fukuoka City Science Museum Opens

The Fukuoka City Science Museum opened on October 1. The new facility is located on the third to sixth floors of the new Ropponmatsu 421 complex and features a planetarium (25 meters in diameter and 15.5 meters in height) that recreates the night sky using 8K quality images. Japanese astronaut and Kyushu University graduate Koichi Wakata serves as the museum’s honorary director. Guests will be able to enjoy the permanent exhibition, as well as cool attractions such as the zero gravity training installation. Source: Sankei Shimbun, 9/26/2017
