Fukuoka City signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Singaporean government, which will provide mutual support to business startups through an organization called ACE (Action Community for Entrepreneurship). Fukuoka City has signed eight memorandums of this nature and follows similar agreements with Estonia, Helsinki, Taipei, a Taiwanese startup hub, San Francisco-based D-HAUS (managed by Btrax), Bordeaux, and Auckland. Under the MOU, enterprises from both sides already delivered pitches. The Fukuoka Award was given to the Singapore-based start-up NinjaOS, which will help the online ordering company further develop their business. Source: The Bridge, 9/29/2017
