Fukuoka City To Subsidize PCR Tests For Pregnant Women

Fukuoka City intends to subsidize PCR tests for pregnant women with close due dates. The city has added a ¥144 million special budget to the revised budget for consideration in the September assembly. The revised budget also covers financial support for nurseries and postnatal care facilities to purchase sanitation items and masks. The city also cut a total of ¥11.4 billion from other projects, as a significant revenue shortfall is expected due to the impact of the spread of the new coronavirus. Source: Fukuoka City
