Fukuoka City Welcomes 16,251 New Adults

Fukuoka City celebrated 16,251 new adults this year. The city’s Coming of Age Ceremony took place at Marine Messe on Jan. 10, implementing anti-infection measures against the new coronavirus. The mayor, Soichiro Takashima, inspired the attendees with his message, saying, “the opposite of success isn’t failure; it’s about not trying.” Source: NHK / RKB
