Coool, an artificial turf manufacturer based in Munakata City, is actively promoting its self-cooling grass. Using evaporative cooling effects of limestone mixed in the synthetic grass base, the product lowers its surface temperatures by around 20 degrees compared to the conventional materials and reduces environmental impact.
