On October 22 residents in Morooka, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, reported a bird dangling from a utility pole. The bird appeared to be alive but unable to untangle itself. Firefighters used ladders to carry out a rescue operation and freed the bird from what appeared to be a fishing line. Source: TNC
