Fukuoka Governor Hints Extension OF State of Emergency

Fukuoka Governor, Seitaro Hattori, remarked that the regional situation of the COVID-19 pandemic remains too severe to lift the ongoing state of emergency on September 12. Though the scheduled SOE period ends in just six days, daily counts of new infections continue to reach close to one thousand, and the risk spread remains high. A task-force meeting will be held in the middle of the week to discuss plans. Source: KBC / TNC
