Fukuoka Jisho, the developer of Canal City 2, a shopping and entertainment complex planned in Fukuoka City, is considering the establishment of an affiliated unit to develop and manage the indoor Disney Co. facility that might be located at the site. They’ve also asked other major local companies to consider taking a financial stake in that new unit. Canal City 2 is considered the prime candidate as the location for Disney’s first indoor facility.
